Bodies change. Medications help and they also rearrange sleep and appetite. Ask plain questions. Notice what actually helps. Skip the before-and-after photo.
Sleep, stress, and the 3 a.m. committee
Worry can have a folder. It does not get the whole night. A regular bedtime and one person who will pick up the phone are unglamorous and effective.
Medicare timing
Windows sneak up. Mark the calendar, ask someone who has done it, keep the papers in one envelope. Then go back to living. Paperwork is a task, not a personality.
